What you can do is download a ringtone (it's going to cost $2.50, but you should have gotten a $5 activation bonus). After you have downloaded your ringtone and if it is not 100% what you wanted, call virgin mobile and tell them that you didn't like the ringtone and it is low quality. Virgin mobile will credit you $2.50 and you can then download another ringtone for free.
You are only allowed 1-2 ringtone requests a month before reps will no longer credit you, but if you really aren't satisfied 100% with your ringtone, you might as well get one you really like.
For june, Virgin Mobile has finally redone their website and their now offering the Oystr for free. If you buy an Oystr online, you get the phone and a $20 top up card, making the phone free.
